Good post about Washaun! I wonder, though, how you decide that Washaun should get 20 carries per game and Caleb should get 10? In the last three games of the season, Caleb's ypc average was HIGHER than Washaun's - and that was about when he started eating again, no? I think a 50/50 split like the Tech game was great to see. And Caleb seems to find the endzone more. Remember that most of the season, Caleb King was on a liquid diet. I think we're doing to see great things from #4 and #3 next year.

Although, had we handed the ball to the kid at the goal line of the UK game instead of calling an insane pitch play (and then blaming him for lack of execution) there is no doubt he would have scored another. I really won't mind if we see a 50/50 split so long as we commit to the run and both backs are playing at a high level. That said, I always prefer when one back gets a few more carries as I prefer the featured back system - I think it helps to get a rhythm going. If Caleb is the featured back because his play is better, that is fine. Let's just run the ball. Oh, and of course if we lose 5 games again next year a Heisman for Washaun, Caleb, AJ Green or any of our players would be unthinkable. It all starts with winning, of course.

Ealey and King with both be 1000+ yd. rushers next season, with about 15 - 20 pass plays a game from Aaron Murray to keep their D honest, and we are back to 10+ wins a season again. With Alec Ogletree coming, and possibly Da'rick Rogers (who may move to DB for earlier playing time and exposure) we should be back to the solid SEC powerhouse that our running game demands. No more turnovers. Discipline. Florida is going to be on a down 2 - 3 years, and Alabama is losing a lot of players too, so this is our chance to pounce. Lets get a DC who isn't afraid to blitz/fake blitz 15 times a game. Lets get back to the trench war that is BullDawg Football.
