FYI ... 13 days until kickoff in Jacksonville

It was just a win against the ’Dores, but the Dawgs finally put three solid quarters together. Could it be that in less than two weeks they finally play a complete game? And if so, will it be enough to beat those Mighty Gators?

These Dawgs were battered from the head coach to the water boy, but they showed some heart and desire today. Huge kudos to Mike Bobo for deciding his presence on the field might be more beneficial than in the booth. And surely he will be on the field in Jacksonville. And who better than someone who truly knows what it takes to beat the Gators.

Perhaps Bobo also being on the field somehow reminded him that the ONLY WAY to be truly be committed to running the football is handing the ball off enough times. 37 carries, yummy.

40 carries in Jacksonville sounds about right. Look at the last few Georgia wins over Florida. It was a whole heap of helpings for Bulldog backs. Arkansas showed the charmed Gators can be leaned on if you’re willing to punch them in the mouth from the opening kickoff.
